Book Clubs

Over the past three weeks I have had the opportunity to speak to two books clubs that chose Meeting Her Match as their book-of-the-month.  What fun it is to hear from so many women my age who could relate to my story.  Many shared their personal tales of discrimination----and not just in the area of sports!  The younger women in the groups couldn't believe there was a time when girls were not allowed to play on sports teams. Reading Meeting Her Match gave them a new perspective on their history....and made them appreciative of the opportunities they have today.
