What a fantastic book-signing event at Metalartz Gallery in St. Augustine on Saturday, April 19.  Lots of folks stopped by and purchased books for themselves, daughters, and grand-daughters.  I loved meeting the people and talking sports.  A couple of my former students even popped in!  What a surprise---after 40 years!  The nice lady in the upper right photo told me that she has seven daughters who were all athletes.  Yet, none of her three sons were interested in sports!  What a hoot!

After watching the women's NCAA championship game last night I was struck with the stark realization of how far women's basketball has come just in my lifetime---the media, the stories, the crowd, the hype.  Wow!  I hope every little girl in America was watching.  You go girls!
